1.3  By visiting or using any of the websites, signing up for services offered by us and submitting information to the Company, you are agree and consent to us, our respective representatives collecting, using, disclosing and sharing amongst themselves your Personal Data, and disclosing such Personal Data to the our authorised service providers and relevant third parties according to the terms in this Private Policy.

 

1.4  We reserve the right to amend and revise the Private Policy from time to time and the updated Data Protection Policy shall be binding on you subject to your rights at law.

2.2  Personal data which we may collect include but are not limited to: your name, NRIC, FIN, passport or other identification number, telephone number(s), fax number(s), mailing address, email address, mobile phone, your organisation name, organisation Unique Entity Number, postal address, business telephone, mobile number(s) and fax number(s), business email address, your billing and payment information, including name of bank details, bank account number(s), security code, Swift code, expiry date, GIRO and Cheque details. 

 

2.3  In the case when you use our website and services, the cookies, IP address, your account details and network data.

 

2.4  We wish to bring to your attention that there are surveillance cameras installed throughout the premise of OceanBlu Shipping (S) Pte Ltd for security reason and you acknowledge that your personal data will be collected by such camera and processed by us consequently.

e.     when we receive references of you from business partners and third parties;

e.     preventing, investigating crime and compliance with law enforcement by relevant authorities (including the use of CCTV surveillance and conducting security clearance);

f.      conducting marketing research, improvement of services provided to you;

g.     maintaining your account, assessing credit facilities and carrying out billing;

h.     recording the phone text messages, emails, documentation for verification purposes; 

i.      processing any insurance claims and payments arising under the respective policies;

j.      any other purpose relating to any of the above or such that which in our opinion reasonably required the use of your Personal Data subject to your rights at law.


5.     Disclosure of Personal Data

 

5.1  We do not disclose Personal Data to third parties except when required by law, when we have your consent or deemed consent or in cases where we have engaged the third party such as data intermediaries, subcontractors or service providers specifically to assist with our company’s business activities.

 

5.2  We will take reasonable steps to protect your Personal Data against unauthorised disclosure.

6.     Access to and Correction of Personal Data

 

6.1  Upon request, we will assist you to access to your personal data or other appropriate information on your personal data in accordance with the requirements of the PDPA.

 

6.2  Upon request, we will correct an error or omission in your personal data that is in our possession or control in accordance with the requirements of the PDPA.

7.     Withdrawal of Consent for Marketing Purpose 

 

7.1  Upon request, if you no longer wish to receive marketing messages from us, you may submit your request in writing or via email to our Data Protection Officer at dpo@oblu.com.sg 

 

7.2  Upon receipt of your written request to withdraw your consent, we may require reasonable time (depending on the complexity of the request and its impact on our relationship with you) your request to be processed and for us to notify you of the consequences of us acceding to the same, including any legal consequences which may affect your rights and liabilities to us. In general, we shall seek to process and effect your request within thirty (30) days from your date of notification.

 

8.     Storage of Personal Data

 

8.1  We shall implement generally accepted standards of technology and operational security to prevent leakage, loss or damage, unauthorised access, and copying of personal data in our possession.

 

8.2  We will cease to retain Personal Data, as soon as it is reasonable to assume that the purpose for collection of such personal data is no longer being served by such retention, and such retention is no longer necessary for legal or business purposes.

 

9.     Transfer of Personal Data out of Singapore

 

We will ensure that any transfers of Personal Data to a territory outside of Singapore will be in accordance with the PDPA so as to ensure a standard of protection to personal data so transferred that is comparable to the protection under the PDPA.

 

10.  Link to Other Websites

 

OceanBlu Shipping (S) Pte Ltd website/IT portals, and other digital and telecommunications channels may contain links to other sites that are operated by third party companies with different privacy practices. You should remain alert and read the privacy statements of other sites. We have no control over personal data that you submit to or receive from these third parties.

11.1        This Private Policy supplements but does not supersede nor replace any other consents you may have previously provided to us in respect of your Personal Data.
